In for a pound... well a kilo to be exact.

The water has gone down quite a lot in the cellar now, and I could, if I really wanted to, walk across the floor in my wellies.

Nothing much happened today but I have finished my table runner and made a stuffed heart as well as a kilo of soap made with a Mediterraneo fragrance oil. It smells divine. I'll unmould it tomorrow and hopefully it will be blue as well. I've never made a blue soap before. Pics will be posted when it's cut.

New pool's got a leak.

My new swimming pool appears to have a leak, the water has gone down a bit since this morning and my geraniums aren't quite floating like they were. My 'bag for life' is a sodden mess but it is oh! so moisturised after floating around all day in what looks like Duckhams engine oil.

More rain is forecast so my new pool could be refilled fairly shortly. Watch this space.

In for a penny....

Well, I thought I'd actually better write something in my blog otherwise it's going to be a tad boring. Not sure what to write really but I'm sure as the evening goes on I'll have some strange things I need to write about.

For those of you that don't know I have a new indoor swimming pool, the water is a tad muddy but that's OK, some people pay a lot of money for a mud bath, I am offering you a dip for free. There is an oily slick on the top which may or may not be good for the skin. I'm not too sure about its moisturising properties. The pool isn't heated so it's not for the feint hearted.
