Season's Greetings

I'd just like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a peaceful and happy New Year.

Soapballs (or soap boobs)

I thought I'd have a go at decorating soapballs with dried pressed flowers. I didn't think they looked too bad until my son said that they looked like boobs and nipples. Blooming typical.

Log fire

Finally after a million years of our new log burner sitting on a pallet in my kitchen it got fitted.

It eats wood like it's going out of fashion but it is so cosy and absolutely great for melting oils for soaps etc and getting pesky soaps to gel. Oh and the cat likes it.

Sunset the other evening.

A few days ago my son took my camera and photographed a gorgeous sunset. We do seem to get some quite spectacular evenings from time to time.

Another little fiddle

I bought some different wire the other day so decided to have a little fiddle with it and my rose buds. I prefer this hanging to the heart shaped one I think.

More food for thought

Many people ask if my soaps contain chemicals etc. I am not quite sure what they are getting at in particular but as the whole of existance as we know it is made up of chemicals it's rather a daft question.

Our fresholi friend EJ has written an article on her blog explaining why our soaps and other products contain chemical etc. Link to the article from here it explains things very well.
