Well Christmas came and went. Moss and me spent it with my mom and stepdad. I cooked Christmas dinner, which has been the first time for a few years. My stepbrother normally cooks it when he comes over from France for the holidays. This last Christmas he didn't come over for his annual stay.
It was a very relaxing sort of day, a lovely walk first thing. It was gloriously frosty, home, then dinner and pressie opening. Then mostly TV watching. The offerings on TV marked as entertainment were absolutely dire. I don't think I've have ever seen such utter rubbish on TV for the Christmas period as I saw this last holiday period.
These are just about the only photos I took on Christmas Day.
I came home Boxing Day morning via the canal and boat checking and spent the rest of the day on my own with Moss.
The 27th of December there was another wedding at The Castle, there had been one on Christmas Eve as well. Both days were glorious and the wedding parties were very lucky. Very low key affairs but there was a lovely positive buzz to the atmosphere.
The swans even returned for the event.
